Botox reliably helps with excessive sweating
Sweat is a natural reaction of the body that serves to regulate heat. Excessive sweat production is usually caused by overexcitability of the autonomic nervous system, which not only leads to social problems but can also be psychologically stressful.
In my practice in Vienna, I inject Botox after applying an anesthetic cream, Botox very superficially into the affected areas. There it reliably blocks the sweat glands.
The following areas of the body are treated with Botox:
- Palms
- Soles of the feet
- Armpits
- Forehead (alternating sweating)
