Neurodermatitis

Targeted & efficient treatment of neurodermatitis

An overview

Neurodermatitis (atopic dermatitis) is a chronic eczema disorder. eczema disease of the skin. It usually occurs for the first time in childhood and fortunately disappears in up to 85% of cases by the age of 4. In some patients, however, it continues into adulthood, and these patients often also suffer from hay fever or asthma.

Atopic dermatitis is based on a genetically determined and inadequate ability to store moisture in the skin. The result: chronically dry skin. This in turn causes the skin to itch. The constant scratching can allow germs to enter the skin, causing additional superinfections (yellowish crusts).
